Asset Protection & Safety Mgr

Job Summary
Oversee asset protection, safety, and loss-prevention initiatives for Lowe's stores. Provide coaching and supervision to associates, conduct investigations, and coordinate programs to minimize shrink while maintaining a safe shopping environment. Manage safety reports, regulations, and compliance; monitor receiving/shipping patterns; respond to incidents; and support neighboring stores as needed. Role may include occasional travel for meetings or trainings. Requires ability to lift up to 25 pounds and availability across varying shifts including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience (e.g., retail or Asset Protection)
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Safety, Business, or related Asset Protection field
- National certified training program (e.g., Wicklander-Zuwalski or Reed training)
- Professional accreditation (e.g., APQ, APC) or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience directly or indirectly supervising employees including coaching, mentoring, directing, training, performance management, and recognition
- 2 years of experience as a Manager in a retail environment
- 1 year of experience conducting quality reviews/audits
- Experience in using physical security systems (e.g., CCTV, EAS)
