Job Summary
Protect and deter theft, fraud, and policy violations by maintaining a visible, professional presence in-store. Safely and lawfully detain offenders while conducting detailed internal and external investigations, gathering evidence, and collaborating with law enforcement. Partner with store leadership to identify loss trends, implement prevention strategies, and ensure compliance with company standards and provincial regulations. Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule. This front-line security role supports Atlantic Superstore in Moncton, NB, helping reduce shrink and safeguard employees and customers across high-volume grocery and pharmacy settings.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Provincial Security Guard License
- Understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada
- Understanding of Trespass to Property Act
- Understanding of related legislation
- Experience with CCTV
- Experience with surveillance tools
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Previous experience in grocery, pharmacy, or other high-volume retail environments
- Candidates who are 18 years or older
