Job Summary
Asset Protection Representative at Real Canadian Superstore in Ottawa, ON. Deter, detect and apprehend theft and fraud within retail locations; collaborate with APRs to investigate ORC cases; coordinate with local police; conduct internal investigations and present evidence for court/arbitration; identify shrink opportunities; build partnerships with store management; participate in store-level audits and community events; flexible scheduling across days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Requires valid Provincial Security Guard License and knowledge of Criminal Code, Trespass to Property Act, Powers of Arrest, and CCTV; proficient with Windows-based applications; professional demeanor and high integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Provincial Security Guard License required
- Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest
- Knowledge of CCTV and surveillance systems
- Working knowledge of Windows-based applications (Word, Power Point and Outlook)
- Professional, friendly and approachable demeanor
- High degree of initiative and integrity
