Job Summary
Facilitate asset protection efforts and communicate shortage reduction strategies within the store while ensuring compliance with AP plans and safety programs. Develop partnerships with store colleagues, central executives, and external entities including local law enforcement and mall management to build positive business relationships. Utilize reporting and data to drive execution of theft mitigation efforts, oversee training for store leadership, and improve audit compliance metrics. Provide a safe environment for customers and colleagues by leveraging physical security knowledge and adapting to changing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 to 3 years' experience in asset protection / loss prevention
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
- Good follow-up skills
- Working knowledge of the physical security aspects of the job including alarms, EAS, CCTV, and lock and key
- Ability to make solid business decisions, make recommendations and implement necessary changes
- Highly organized
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Must be a team player
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs
- Ability to bend, reach, hear, and communicate as needed
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. as required
