Job Summary
Settle tills, prepare deposits, and monitor cashiers while maintaining accurate accounting functions at the store level. Train team members on updated cashier policies, coach them on service standards, and mentor staff to solve problems through critical thinking. Communicate with office management to stay educated on company policies, training procedures, and government regulations while ensuring compliance with dress codes and name tag enforcement. Handle physical demands including lifting 60 lb. boxes, using sharp instruments for food preparation, and working on floors that may become slippery. This role supports Pyramid Foods' objective of providing quality food and service in a clean, friendly atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10/20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
