Job Summary
Settle tills, prepare deposits, and monitor cashiers while issuing tills to staff. Train team members on updated cashier policies and coach them on current procedures. Maintain store-level accounting functions and ensure all records comply with government regulations and company policy. Enforce company standards regarding dress, name tags, and training procedures while communicating with office management. Handle physical demands including lifting 60 lb. boxes and using sharp instruments for food preparation. This entry-level role supports Pyramid Foods' objective of providing quality service in a clean, friendly atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10/20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products.
- Must have dexterous use of both hands.
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use.
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes.
- Good, corrected vision.
- Good, corrected hearing.
- Ability to stoop.
- Ability to kneel.
- Ability to stand.
- Ability to reach.
- Ability to push.
- Ability to pull.
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
