Job Summary
Asset Protection Detective responsible for using surveillance to identify and apprehend shoplifters and dishonest employees, recover stolen merchandise, prepare investigations and reports, testify in court, train colleagues on security protocols, and maintain compliance with laws and company policies. Builds partnerships with store staff and law enforcement, ensuring a safe and customer-centric shopping environment. Requires flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to obtain/maintain required licenses and certifications. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A current New York State Security Guard License is required for jobs in New York
