Job Summary
Asset Protection Detective role at Macy’s Roseville Galleria. Responsibilities include using surveillance techniques to identify and apprehend shoplifters and dishonest employees; employing de-escalation tools to maintain a safe, customer-centric environment; recovering stolen merchandise; researching and providing statements and evidence to support investigations; preparing reports on theft incidents, investigations, and audits; maintaining compliance with laws and company policies; building partnerships with store teams and law enforcement; testifying in court; training colleagues on protocols; responding to alarm conditions and completing special assignments; providing first aid when needed; and fostering an inclusive environment with colleagues, customers, and communities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- For jobs in New York, a current New York State Security Guard License is required
- Obtain and maintain required licenses, trainings, and certifications
