Job Summary
Asset Protection Coordinator role (hourly, full-time) reporting to the Market Asset Protection Manager. Responsible for asset protection, security, compliance, and safety functions within a store, including driving shrink reduction, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Engages in administrative reviews, floor presence to educate on best practices, and monitoring compliance with safety, inventory, and shrink directives. Supports training and development for Outfitters on shrink, safety, and security, analyzes cycle counts and loss reports to identify root causes, investigates over/short shipments with DC and Store, promotes merchandise protection tools, monitors physical security and safety standards, conducts known loss investigations, and may appear in court or conduct information gathering as needed. Requires working on the sales floor in a uniform, with knowledge of security systems (CCTV, EAS), and familiarity with safety programs and reporting. Must be able to obtain any certifications/licenses required by local law. Travel is not an essential function.
