Job Summary
Asset Protection Coordinator is an hourly, full-time role focused on maintaining and monitoring asset protection, security, compliance, and safety within a Bass Pro Shops facility. Responsibilities include training Outfitters on shrink, safety, and security; analyzing cycle counts and loss reports to identify root causes; ensuring inventory accuracy; enforcing merchandise protection standards; conducting investigations into theft, policy violations, and safety incidents; interacting with customers and staff on the sales floor; preparing detailed reports; and supporting safety programs. Requires uniformed presence on the shop floor, ability to monitor and protect against loss, and adherence to applicable laws and company policies. Preferred qualifications include related degree and certifications; travel is not an essential function; benefits are provided. Bass Pro Shops is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management or related field preferred
- Experience in security, asset protection, and safety preferred
- Knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, EAS)
- First Aid / CPR / AED certification (preferred)
