Job Summary
Implement strategy with the Vice President of Operations to execute programs supporting safety, profitability, and inventory excellence. Manage territory shrink and outlier programs by analyzing trends, determining root causes, and devising improvement strategies. Conduct comprehensive audits of assigned markets to ensure policy compliance and perform investigations into fraud or policy abuse. Assist with property protection controls including fire systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring. Communicate loss and safety trends to operators and partner with risk staff to address claims trends. Work nights, evenings, and weekends as needed, with up to 60% overnight travel required. Bachelor's degree and Wicklander-Zulawski certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A) from four-year college or university
- two years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Wicklander-Zulawski certified
- proficient knowledge of accepted internal investigation processes and methodologies in a retail environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Must be self-motivated with highly effective time management skills
- Must have solid conflict management skills with the ability to work alone in stressful situations
- Ability to work nights, evenings, and weekends appropriate to retail business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Asset Protection/Loss Prevention experience
- OSHA VPP experience
- Retail operations – multi unit experience
- CFI/CFE/LPQ/LPC certification
