Job Summary
Resolve theft by using good judgment and conduct quality apprehensions in high shrinkage areas while strictly adhering to policy. Identify theft trends by leveraging technology, reporting, and surveillance tactics to drive a shrinkage reduction culture. Investigate internal theft by gathering evidence and partnering with AP Leadership and Investigation teams. Use video systems and RFID data to monitor activity and aid investigations. Maintain the general safety of customers and employees by responding to and reporting all security and emergency incidents. Serve as a member of the store Emergency Response Team and lead security audits and shrinkage awareness training. Prepare and submit prompt reports for high-profile incidents and testify in court when summoned. Build cross-functional partnerships with store leaders, neighboring retailers, and local law enforcement. Work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Required Qualifications

- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- A calm demeanor when dealing with safety issues, including dealing with individuals who engage in aggressive behavior

- Meet any state and local licensing requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in investigative, asset protection and security procedures (preferred)
