Job Summary
Resolve theft by conducting quality apprehensions in high shrinkage areas while adhering to policy and leadership guidance. Identify theft trends using surveillance tactics and leverage RFID data to investigate merchandise inaccuracies. Maintain general safety by responding to security incidents, medical emergencies, and store audits. Support internal theft investigations through evidence gathering and partner with law enforcement on cross-functional matters. Prepare reports for high-profile incidents and testify in court when summoned. Serve as a member of the store Emergency Response Team, including First Aid training.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to make, and be accountable for, decisions use good judgement in a fast-paced environment
- Have detailed, clear and concise verbal and written skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- A calm demeanor when dealing with safety issues, including dealing with individuals who engage in aggressive behavior
- Accountability, initiative, and a high level of ownership
- The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Meet any state and local licensing requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in investigative, asset protection and security procedures (preferred)
