Asset Planning Engineer

Asset Planning Engineer responsible for delivering a leading asset planning service across water abstraction, water treatment and pumping assets. Responsibilities include gathering and evaluating information to prioritise and develop projects through concept and definition stages; working with asset management and operational teams to optimise the investment portfolio; balancing cost, risk and performance to deliver best value for customers. Key skills include an analytical mindset, knowledge of water industry assets and processes (pumps, water treatment), asset planning/asset management experience, strong analytical and written communication, and operational risk management. A degree in an engineering discipline is preferred (Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or general).
