Job Summary
Perth-based Asset Performance Specialist focusing on asset health and performance reporting. Responsible for engaging with stakeholder representatives to understand reporting needs, assembling datasets using SQL or Python, and building end-user reports within the company’s BI/reporting tools. Develop and improve data products, KPIs, and visualisations; remediate data gaps with data-source owners; and drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, documentation, and communications. Requires experience with mining equipment and a background in data analytics or data products, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical, Process, Electrical Engineering degree or similar
- 3+ Years experience within Mining environment with maintenance, process or reliability roles (essential)
- Experience with SAP CMMS or similar
- Experience with T-SQL and/or Snowflake is essential, Python is beneficial
- Experience with PowerBi or other BI applications
- Demonstrated high level teamwork and communication skills
- Experience communicating complex analysis results simply to senior leaders
- Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety and Environment is essential
