Job Summary
Asset Operations Manager responsible for managing the adoption, operation, and maintenance of the UKPD electricity distribution and transmission network in Warrington. Key duties include reviewing and approving ICP authorisations, approving switching schedules and live working requests, organising an 8-year maintenance programme, managing UKPD fault reporting and out-of-hours escalations, coordinating DNO planned maintenance and isolations, conducting post-commissioning inspections (and overseeing Matrix-reported remedial actions), arranging remedial works for primary substations, and providing a Control Engineer function for switching and isolations assigned to ICPs.
Required Qualifications
- Holds in date SAP authorisation (Fault and planned switching) up to and including 33kV
- Experience of delivery, operation and maintenance management electricity distribution networks up to 132kV
- Knowledge of regulatory and HSE Framework
- Knowledge of the philosophy and principles relating to the design electricity distribution networks including protection and SCADA
- Knowledge of the selection and procurement of materials
- Excellent relationship management skills across the business and with customers, consumers and service providers
