Job Summary
Vice President – Global Custody Asset Servicing Middle Office Risk leads a team focused on risk management for complex voluntary corporate actions and income events from inception to payment. Responsibilities include SME leadership, escalation triage, root-cause analysis, and implementing durable fixes; driving process improvements through analytics and automation; partnering with client-facing Middle Office, Client Service, and core processing teams to resolve issues end-to-end; maintaining documentation and control standards; monitoring key risk indicators and reporting to stakeholders; and coordinating cross-regional coverage including EMEA hours to ensure consistent service and risk oversight.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in corporate actions processing across asset classes
- Deep knowledge of end-to-end asset servicing lifecycle (event setup, election capture, entitlement calculation, and payment)
- Strong understanding of accounting entries for corporate actions and income
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage escalations
- Proven track record of driving process improvements using data and automation tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose operational and technical issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to build relationships with operations and senior stakeholders
- Self-motivated, organized, and effective under tight timeframes while collaborating as part of a team
