Job Summary
Asset Manager responsible for end-to-end stewardship of rail infrastructure assets in the Brisbane Airport Rail Link contract. You will lead a team of 5 across day-to-day maintenance, renewal activities and project works for assets including track, signalling, stations and electrical infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing long-term asset management plans, leading lifecycle planning (condition modelling, remaining life assessments, renewal prioritisation), overseeing routine/reactive/planned maintenance, coordinating defect management and corrective actions, acting as the Qualified Technical Person (QTP) for electrical and signalling works, managing asset-related budgets and financial reporting, maintaining asset registers and digital data, providing leadership and development for maintenance teams, and ensuring compliance with Rail Safety National Law and regulator requirements. May require after-hours site attendance. Requires tertiary qualification in Engineering or equivalent, current Queensland electrical licence, construction white card, and ability to obtain required medical and police clearances. Strong analytical, commercial, and leadership skills with effective communication and time management.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Asset Management or equivalent
- Current QLD electrical licence (incl. CPR LVR and first aid)
- Proven experience in rail infrastructure maintenance or asset management
- Construction white card
- May require after hours site attendance and ability to pass Rail Cat 2 medical and police check requirements
