Asset Manager, Surveillance

Job Summary

Conduct surveillance, risk assessment, and ongoing risk management for assigned GSE multifamily loans, including quarterly and annual financial analysis and property inspections. Manage internal watch list loans by developing action plans, maintaining monthly comments, and presenting recommendations to senior management. Coordinate third-party vendor inspections, review repair and escrow reports, and draft default remedies or Letters of Rights as required. Collaborate with borrowers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with investor requirements and monitor emerging risks. Work 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Tuesday through Thursday with remote options on Mondays and Fridays. Bachelor's degree and three years of asset management experience required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business, finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Asset Management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac servicing guide requirements
  • Strong analytical skills including financial analysis, risk evaluation, and use of MS Office products
  • Excellent organizational and business writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and time-sensitive requests
  • Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges, and acknowledge growth opportunities
  • Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to travel and operate a motor vehicle
  • Attendance from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm local time, Tuesday through Thursday
  • Option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays
