Job Summary
Lead the Asset Manager Solutions team in building and expanding iCapital's global business with a primary focus on US-based fund managers. Manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients while fostering strong relationships with existing clients using a solutions-oriented, client-first approach. Take ownership of strategic projects to refine the international offering and create educational materials that highlight iCapital's capabilities. Provide constant field feedback on competitive landscapes, investor appetite, and market trends to colleagues globally. Build collaborative internal relationships across Research, Fund Management, Product Development, Enterprise Integration, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Operations to achieve optimal client outcomes. Work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, organizing a multi-faceted workload with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of relevant work experience in private markets and private funds in the asset or wealth management industry
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in fund structuring, fund platforms, and fund selection
- Experience pitching and winning client business
- Able client management skills
- Able to organize and structure a multi-faceted workload
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated capabilities to build trust
- Able to think strategically about business opportunities and client management
- Able to work independently
- Desire to work in a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Self-motivated
- Hands-on attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Adequate exposure to Private Equity and/or other Private Markets asset classes
- Understanding of the distribution model
- Work experience outside the US
