Job Summary
Asset Manager, Industrial role focused on maximizing total return for industrial assets in Phoenix and Texas, coordinating with third-party property managers, leasing brokers, and attorneys; oversees lease analysis and approvals, capital improvement and value-add projects, property inspections, tenant relations, and portfolio reporting; requires a BA/BS in finance or real estate (graduate degree preferred), 7-10+ years of CRE asset management experience, proficiency with financial analysis, asset-level statements, Yardi and MS Excel, strong leadership and communication skills, and ~35% travel; reporting to the Managing Director of Asset Management. Location constraints indicate Austin or Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in finance, real estate or related field
- 7-10+ years of commercial real estate asset management, principal-based leasing, and/or related experience
- experience in financial analysis and understanding of asset-level financial statements
- knowledge of real estate accounting and strong analytical skills
- knowledge of design and construction process
- experience with Yardi and MS Office 365 (MS Teams & MS Excel)
- strong organizational, detail-oriented, multi-project management
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- flexible to travel ~35%
