Job Summary
Asset Manager, Hospitality — represents ownership in third-party managed hotel assets, overseeing financial underwriting, JV relationships, and performance audits to maximize portfolio value. Act as liaison between ownership and operators; monitor HMAs, conduct performance audits, analyze RevPAR/GOPPAR, perform DCF/NPV modeling for transactions, manage budgets/reforecasts, CapEx, and PIPs; coordinate with vendors and internal teams; lead and mentor analysts; prepare Investment Committee materials and communications for JV partners.
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in hospitality asset management or hotel investment analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Hotel Management, Real Estate, or a related field
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Argus Enterprise
- Exceptional financial modeling skills with a deep understanding of hotel P&Ls, benchmark reporting (STR), and valuation techniques
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills; ability to establish strong working relationships with third-party operators and joint venture partners
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and lead support staff
