Job Summary
Asset Manager for Multifamily Properties overseeing financial and operational performance across a portfolio. Partners with ownership and property management to drive occupancy, leasing, marketing, resident experience, budgeting, capital improvements, and performance improvement. Analyzes property financial statements and operating reports, tracks performance trends, develops and reviews annual operating budgets, prepares forecasts and reporting, conducts property visits, and manages compliance and certifications. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance/Real Estate/Related field and 5–7 years of multifamily experience; strong communication and Excel-based analytics; travel about 15% for property visits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, Economics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 5–7 years of experience in multifamily property management, regional operations, or asset management
- Strong understanding of multifamily operations, budgeting, financial reporting, and performance analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and operational trends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer-based reporting tools
- Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and make sound decisions independently
- Ability to collaborate effectively with onsite teams, leadership, and external partners
- Travel 15% of the time for property visits, meetings, and inspections
