Job Summary

Oversee the entire life cycle of Real Estate Owned (REO) assets from acquisition to disposition, managing a portfolio to maximize recovery and minimize holding costs. Develop marketing strategies, coordinate repair and rehab processes, and negotiate offers while collaborating with vendors, agents, buyers, legal, and title companies. Ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements through close stakeholder interaction. This role reports to the AVP, Asset Disposition, and requires a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or Finance, along with 2+ years of REO Asset Manager experience. The position offers a salary range of $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 annually plus a monthly incentive. Genstone provides property management, renovations, and real estate investment services nationwide as part of The Fay Group.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/GED)
  • 2+ years' experience as an REO Asset Manager
  • 2+ years' experience in the real estate or mortgage industry
  • Working knowledge of REO processes and property disposition strategies
  • Proficient in real estate asset management software and loan servicing systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, agents and other stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and manage shifting priorities
  • Client focused with strong execution skills and results orientation
  • High-level of precision with attention to detail and consistency
  • Flexible, open to change, ability to learn new things quickly
