Job Summary
Prepare quarterly reports, valuations, and risk ratings while performing financial analysis of properties, including operating statements, budget reviews, and loan administration. Assess portfolio loan risks to make mitigation recommendations to senior management and conduct quarterly property-level valuations. Oversee borrower implementation of business plans for mezzanine, bridge, REO, and preferred equity assets, and interpret legal documents to ensure loan compliance. Monitor capital improvement projects for timely completion within budgets and perform market research to identify performance factors. Work closely with senior management on strategies for workouts, foreclosures, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate and/or Accounting
- 2-4 years of experience in Real Estate with an emphasis on risk/financial analysis, valuations, relationship management, workouts, capital markets and Asset Management
- A strong knowledge of real estate markets with a particular emphasis on Single Family Rental and/or Build to Rent properties
- Excellent project management, leadership and organizational skills
- The ability to 'think outside the box' and present ideas in a clear and concise manner
- The ability to train analytical staff
Desired Qualifications
- Construction loan asset management experience is a plus.
