Asset Management – Taiwan ETF Capital Markets Specialist - Analyst

Job Summary
Analyst Capital Markets Specialist within the ETF team, supporting ETF trading operations and relationships with Authorized Participants (APs), Market Makers (MMs), and ETF sales/trading desks. Responsibilities include monitoring bid-ask spreads and premiums, facilitating create-redeem processes between the investment platform and APs, educating market participants about ETF products, providing clients and intermediaries with updates and education on investment products, assisting clients with ETF trading and best execution practices, and collaborating with internal product teams on ETF registrations. Key skills include ETF mechanics knowledge, understanding of market structure, strong communication in English and Mandarin, and proficiency with tools like Excel, Bloomberg, Reuters, and Python. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA or equivalent desirable; willingness to obtain SITCA license before onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Interest or experience in the asset management/financial services industry
- Strong motivation and ability to learn, a proactive approach, a can-do attitude, and a genuine passion to understand ETF ecosystem and asset management business
- Strong interpersonal skills. Communicate effectively (oral and written) before large audiences as well as one-on-one with clients
- Knowledge of ETF mechanics, including the factors that drive ETF pricing, creation/redemption, liquidity and spreads, premiums and discounts, tax efficiency, etc.
- Understanding of current exchange and market structure environment and the eagerness to stay current on upcoming changes across the key APAC markets
- Business proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
- Ability to obtain SITCA license (證券商高級業務員 & 金融市場常識與職業道德) before onboarding
