Job Summary
Asset Management Specialist with Cascade experience for REMOTE WORK to support the implementation of DNV Cascade 4 utility asset management software for Orbital Engineering’s Utility Services team. Responsible for implementing asset management software and programs, serving as the primary technical and programmatic contact for clients, developing training materials and best practices, creating asset management strategies and procedures, maintaining asset records and inventory, developing maintenance schedules, monitoring asset performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing guidance to other departments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year ABET-accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in electric utility asset management or related field
- Computer proficiency in DNV Cascade, Microsoft Office products, and business enterprise software
- Experience or basic knowledge of concepts in the electric utility industry, including utility engineering, construction and maintenance standards
- Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work on multiple projects and effectively communicate project status
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Reasoning skills and ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/schematics
- Ability to work from home and an office setting, as required
- This position requires the ability to pass a post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol test in compliance with Federal regulations and is also subject to random testing as a condition of continued employment.
