Job Summary
Asset Management Specialist supports regulatory compliance and engineering operations by developing, maintaining, and analyzing reports, treating data from multiple systems, creating charts and dashboards, and supporting PUC desk audits. Responsibilities include collecting and interpreting data, building recurring and ad hoc reports, presenting results to leadership, monitoring metrics and backlog, identifying data issues, and automating reporting processes. Requires experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI, SQL, TOAD, QlikView), advanced Excel skills, and ability to communicate findings clearly; prefers experience with VBA and Excel automation. The role may be located at any FirstEnergy service center in Ohio locations and requires the ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams to drive decisions and improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Two-to-four-year degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline and minimum 7 to 10 years’ related work experience is required.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 to 13 years’ related work experience is required.
