Asset Management Specialist

Asset Management Specialist forms part of the asset optimisation team and leads asset optimisation activities within RAM-focused programs. Reports to the Engineering Manager to ensure delivery of Asset Optimisation Program activities, holds an Engineering delegation, and provides risk-based technical advice in sustainment optimisation. Based in Sydney with a permanent full-time arrangement, the role requires holding a Baseline security clearance or higher. Responsibilities include PO data cleansing and validation, leading asset optimisation activities, driving continuous improvements for reliability, monitoring progress and mitigating delays, conducting root cause analysis and condition monitoring, collaborating with engineers to refine designs and maintenance strategies, and ensuring governance, compliance, and documentation standards. Ideal candidates will have RAM, FMECA, RCM, and LORA experience, lifecycle cost analysis expertise, ITAR clearance eligibility, and an engineering degree (or equivalent). All candidates must hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance; ITAR considerations are noted, and the organization emphasizes safety, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
