Job Summary
Asset Management Specialist I to maintain equipment detail fields in Master Equipment Lists, ensure specifications (dimensions, weight, utilities) are accurate, collaborate with AMEP, gather equipment documentation (Site Prep Guides, Operator’s Manuals, Specification Sheets), become proficient in client CMMS systems, generate lifecycle documentation, create/manage equipment turnover packages from quotes to installation records, and inspect deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality; role requires hands-on equipment onboarding and coordination with lab planning, architecture/engineering/CQV teams to support state-of-the-art lab facilities. Ideal candidate has BS/BA in a life science or engineering field, 1-3 years in life sciences, familiarity with cGMP, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in Biology, Engineering, or a life science-related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in life sciences, biotech, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with cGMP regulations and standards preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
