Job Summary
Associate in the Investment Accounting Controller Team supporting financial reporting for a large Commercial Real Estate portfolio. Responsibilities include overseeing accounting treatment and transaction execution for REA funds and investors, coordinating with acquisitions, dispositions, and capital restructures, reconciling and analyzing cost vs. fair value accounting, ensuring internal controls, preparing materials for management and investors, and managing outsourced staff. Requires CPA certification, 5+ years of real estate accounting experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; deep knowledge of real estate investment structures, mortgage documents, development management agreements, partnership agreements, and related contracts; collaboration with external auditors and tax practitioners.
Required Qualifications

- Strong understanding of complex real estate investment structures, mortgage documents, development management agreements, partnership agreements, property management and leasing agreements, and purchase and sale agreements
