Job Summary
Private Wealth Alternatives Client Advisor in the Sales team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management will help clients build stronger portfolios by bringing private market solutions to team member investors through financial intermediaries. Responsibilities include attaining placement of private alternative solutions with broker-dealer firms (wirehouse, private bank, RIA, independent broker/dealer, and JP Morgan Chase affiliate channels), proactively contacting broker-dealer firms to identify opportunities, coordinating business development campaigns and marketing support, performing sales functions such as client meetings, proposal generation, presentations, and events, understanding client objectives, providing product information and market data, monitoring broker-dealer sales activities, collaborating with the sales team to increase penetration, and gathering emerging-trends information within the broker-dealer community; frequent travel and strong communication skills required; FINRA Series 7 and 63 required, CFA/CAIA preferred, located in Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience with financial services company in sales/specialist role
- Extensive experience in the private alternative space, including private alternatives structures, non-traded REITs, business development companies, Interval Funds, and closed end offerings
- Ability to communicate information and state problems clearly and professionally
- Client focused with ability to align processes, systems, and personnel to meet broker-dealer firms' needs
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a challenging and collaborative sales environment
- Proficient computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Frequent travel is required
- FINRA Series 7, 63
- Preferred: CFA, CAIA
