Job Summary
Private Wealth Alternatives Client Advisor in the Sales team focusing on placing JP Morgan Asset Management's private market solutions with financial advisors across wirehouse, private bank, RIA, independent broker-dealer, and JP Morgan Chase affiliates. Responsible for proactively contacting broker-dealer firms to identify opportunities for increased penetration, coordinating business development efforts, campaigns, and marketing support, conducting client meetings, generating proposals, delivering presentations and public speaking at seminars/industry events, understanding client objectives, providing product information and market data, monitoring sales activities and competitors' coverage, and collaborating with the sales team to drive penetration within targeted firms; travel frequently.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience with a financial services company in a sales/specialist role
- Extensive experience in the private alternative space, including experience in non-traded REITs, business development companies, Interval Funds, and closed end offerings
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally
- Client-focused approach with ability to align processes and personnel to broker-dealer firms’ needs
- Strong listening and communication skills; ability to thrive in a collaborative sales environment
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Frequent travel is required
