Job Summary
Asset Management - Japan Equity Research Analyst (Healthcare) leading healthcare stock coverage in Japan; responsible for building and updating industry/company models, driving fundamental valuation signals, collaborating with Portfolio Managers and analysts, articulating investment ideas, integrating research into investment decisions, supporting client service activities including performance reviews and client meetings, and presenting materials for clients; requires strong Japanese and English communication and experience in healthcare equities; Bloomberg/Excel/Python proficiency considered assets.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of financial experience, from sell-side or buy-side equities
- Deep experience covering healthcare stocks in Japan market
- Strong analytical skills, ability to measure investment judgement, decision-making, intellectual curiosity, intellectual honesty, teamwork, pro-active communication
- Be proactive in finding new investment ideas as well as thorough in understanding, valuing and maintaining coverage of existing investments
- Highly motivated individuals who are willing to work hard to build up their knowledge base, performance track record and credibility within the team
- Strong written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English
