Job Summary
Developing, maintaining, and analyzing GIS datasets, asset records, and infrastructure models; supporting integration of asset data, mapping systems, and work management tools; performing data validation, quality assurance, and version control across systems; producing maps, visualizations, and reports to support engineering, operations, and planning; collaborating with technical and field teams to ensure accurate asset inventory and spatial alignment; supporting system upgrades, conversions, and implementation of new GIS or asset management platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Suite, ArcFM, AutoCAD, or similar platforms
- Experience working with utility asset data, infrastructure mapping, or enterprise GIS environments preferred
- Strong understanding of data integrity, schema design, and spatial database management
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to pass background screening and compliance verifications (as applicable)
