Job Summary
Asset Management - FOF Research Analyst role focusing on in-depth coverage of public fund products, establishing and maintaining fund pools, and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of fund manager style and performance. Responsibilities include formulating FOF investment strategies, making tactical/strategic asset allocation recommendations, constructing and optimizing FOF simulation portfolios, tracking and reporting fund performance, identifying risks such as style drift, liquidity, and credit, developing or optimizing fund evaluation models and attribution/allocation frameworks, and providing research support to the Investment Decision Committee and external channels. Requires a Master’s degree or higher, 3+ years of relevant experience in fund research/FOF investment, proficiency in fund evaluation systems, AMAC qualification, independent thinking, strong written/verbal skills, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or above in finance, economics, quantitative economics, statistics, financial engineering or related fields
- 3+ years’ experience in fund research or FOF investment within institutions such as public funds, securities asset management, insurance asset management or bank wealth management
- AMAC qualification obtained
- Proficient in fund evaluation systems
- Independent thinking and strong written and verbal communication
- Teamwork and ability to output investment ideas and research reports
