Job Summary
Securitized Trader within the GFICC Trading Team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, responsible for generating and implementing investment ideas in securitized markets (Agency MBS and Securitized Credit), employing fundamental/technical/relative valuation to form market views, collaborating with portfolio managers and research analysts, presenting ideas to investment teams, maintaining broker relationships, and representing trading capabilities to clients and internal stakeholders. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of securitized trading experience; strong communication and relationship-building skills; advanced proficiency in market analysis and trading workflow; CFA progress or related certifications are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 7 years of experience trading securitized products (Agency MBS, ABS, CMBS, RMBS, CLOs, etc.)
- Strong communication skills; ability to present findings and market views
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships internally and externally
- Highly motivated and proactive; ability to work independently and take initiative
