Job Summary
Associate Capital Markets Specialist in the ETF team focused on maintaining relationships with Market Makers and Authorized Participants, educating market participants about ETF products, monitoring bid-ask spreads and premiums/discounts, and ensuring smooth create-redeem processes. Responsibilities include acting as a conduit between the investment platform and APs, providing updates to clients and intermediaries, assisting ETF trading to achieve best execution, and collaborating with product teams on ETF registrations across APAC.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in the asset management/financial services industry
- Bachelor degree in Finance / Economics and related subjects
- Strong knowledge of ETF mechanics, including pricing, creation/redemption, liquidity, spreads, premiums/discounts, tax efficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills; effective communication before audiences and one-on-one with clients
- Multi-asset knowledge including equities, fixed income, derivatives (futures, swaps, etc.) and FX
- Understanding of current exchange and market structure environment and ongoing changes in APAC markets
- Strong technical skills (Excel, Bloomberg, Reuters, Python) and other coding languages
