Job Summary
Asset Management AI/ML Data Scientist Associate on the Asset Management Investment Platform Data Science team develops NLP/LLM-based solutions to extract insights from financial reports, analyst notes, and client communications, enabling data-driven decision making and process automation. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and design architectures, building architectures and technical solutions using LLMs for content extraction, search and QA, creating comprehensive testing to evaluate model performance, partnering with engineering to deliver scalable outputs, and studying scientific literature to apply state-of-the-art techniques. Key skills include NLP/LLM proficiency, Python programming, and an ability to translate financial markets knowledge into actionable data products.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience delivering AI/ML product and managing stakeholder relationships
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Machine Learning
- Proven experience in NLP and working with LLMs
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML libraries/frameworks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with an understanding of financial markets and asset management
