Job Summary
Monitor and assess the operational risk and control environment, determining when to heighten risk levels. Design controls in partnership with business executives, including measuring effectiveness, providing implementation support, and validating performance based on defined triggers. Administer end-to-end issue action plans, identify root causes and key trends, and develop execution strategies. Identify meaningful metrics to inform the health of the operational risk and control environment while escalating breaches based on reporting indicators. Manage control committees and forums to drive continuous improvement through self-assessments, root cause analysis, and ongoing process reviews. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of financial service experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Fluent in English and Chinese.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of financial service experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, compliance or related function
- Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to design, create, and evaluate controls with business partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Fluent in both written and verbal English and Chinese
