Job Summary
Senior Asset Management Compliance and Operational Risk Testing Specialist responsible for scoping testing engagements, developing test scripts, sampling, and aligning testing scope with risk assessments; evaluate control design and operating effectiveness, identify gaps, and drive remediation; document processes and evidence packages; raise issues with clear risk statements and remediation plans; collaborate with cross-functional and global stakeholders (including China) to ensure timely reporting; continuously enhance testing methods and control evaluation techniques, with strong communication skills for interaction with China and global teams.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in business, audit, or compliance testing in the financial industry
- Fund Practitioner Qualification
- Audit background with CA, CPA, CISA, or CIA
- Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English (written and verbal)
- Strong knowledge of China financial regulatory landscape and related laws/regulations
- Experience evaluating control design and operating effectiveness, SOX testing, risk assessments, and issue remediation tracking
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and data/analytics tools such as Alteryx and Tableau
