Job Summary

Asset Management Analyst supporting the operational, financial, and commercial oversight of utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage assets. Responsible for performance analysis, KPI reporting, financial planning support, and day-to-day coordination with portfolio managers and cross-functional teams to ensure assets operate safely, efficiently, and in line with commercial expectations. Key duties include partnering with Portfolio Management to resolve commercial, operational, and contractual issues; assisting with financial planning, monthly revenue and expense accruals, and cash flow forecasting; analyzing monthly project-level P&L statements and variance drivers; supporting annual budgeting and standardizing fleet-wide assumptions; conducting monthly KPI reviews to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; calculating and reporting metrics such as Availability, Performance Ratio, and energy yield for internal and external reporting; preparing recurring reporting deliverables like dashboards and lender reports; managing the reporting cycle with trackers and cross-functional inputs; and contributing to continuous improvement by enhancing reporting tools and processes while maintaining data quality. This role is aligned with renewable energy asset management and requires strong Excel/VBA, data visualization skills, and a passion for energy transition.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, economics, environmental studies, or a related field
  • 2+ years of asset management experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across various workstreams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to independently research, understand, and implement knowledge in new areas
  • An advanced user of Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, dynamic arrays, PivotTables/Pivot Charts, data modeling, automated reporting, and VBA/macros for workflow automation
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial
  • Exceptional organization and work ethic to deliver against critical deadlines
  • Possesses a mindset of continuous improvement, always looking for opportunities to enhance individual and team performance
  • Passionate about renewables and energy transition with a basic understanding of organized energy market fundamentals
