Job Summary
Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment, conducting advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure units are rental-ready. Lead inventory control through cycle counts and adjustments while managing work orders to record parts, labor, and related items. Inspect equipment for quality assurance, maintain accurate documentation, and operate a forklift to move supplies. Mentor junior technicians on maintenance and safety procedures, occasionally delivering or picking up equipment and berms from customer locations. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations. Submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check; forklift certification required within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repairs, or a related field
- Proven experience with inventory control and cycle counts
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Forklift certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
- Strict adherence to all company safety protocols and standards
- Pre-employment drug screen
- Background check
