Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive campus-wide site surveys across LAX facilities to locate, map, and gather GPS coordinates for all digital signage and IT assets. Generate QR code labels to streamline inventory tracking and document power, network connectivity, and UPS systems. Troubleshoot complex digital displays, video walls, media players, and touchscreens while resolving signal, resolution, and audio configuration issues. Coordinate repairs, component replacements, and preventive maintenance for the airport's massive infrastructure. Develop high-quality asset inventory packages using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio to map hardware locations and communication flows. This three-to-six-month contract requires onsite 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday and includes background clearance for sensitive security environments.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience troubleshooting digital signage, displays, media players, video walls, and touchscreens
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and MS Visio for network and hardware mapping
- Ability to pass all required airport background checks and comply with Sensitive Security Information (SSI) handling rules
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Samsung MagicINFO / VXT software
- Familiarity with Novastar display controllers and hardware
- Prior experience working in airport or high-security, mission-critical environments
