Job Summary
Asset Governance and Records Manager responsible for governance and records management of highways assets within the Asset and Network Planning Directorate. Develop and maintain a structured record-keeping system, govern the change process for updates and revisions, and coordinate with CPS Asset & Network Planning teams to ensure accurate and accessible records. Manage FOIA requests as the first point of contact, evaluating and drafting initial responses with input from relevant parties. Implement and maintain records management systems and procedures, conduct regular audits for compliance, protect data integrity and confidentiality, and provide training on good records management practices. Requires experience in QA, information management, governance, and SharePoint, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Role emphasizes collaboration, governance of policies and procedures, regulatory compliance, and data integrity across documentation related to highways asset management.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Assurance, Information Management, or related field
- Proven experience in strategic records management and governance
- Experience developing and managing document governance within SharePoint
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to records management
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
