Asset Engineer - Brisbane Metropolitan Road Asset Maintenance Contract (RAMC)

Job Summary
Manage asset inventory, datasets, and assessments as directed by the Asset Manager. Support and train others in asset information systems, particularly CONFIRM. Coordinate design tasks including pavement investigations and project scoping. Monitor and report on asset inspection regimes while conducting inspections of pavements, culverts, and table drains. Contribute to asset management plans and develop the pavement Forward Works Program. Liaise between Routine Maintenance and Asset Management teams on programming and approvals. Update condition and inventory data and attend contract meetings and workshops. Communicate with asset management specialists across WSP, Fulton Hogan, and TMR. This full-time role is based in the Project Office in Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane.
Required Qualifications
- Asset Management Awareness or at least 2 years of experience in road/civil design, data analytics, asset management, asset maintenance, asset management systems, pavement design, or related advisory roles
- Client-Centred Approach: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and tailored service delivery
- Analytical Thinking: A strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to transform complex data and present in a clear, actionable format, including PowerBI visualisations
- Communication Excellence: strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and data presentation
- Team Collaboration: A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn from and mentor others
- A Bachelor's or Post-Graduate degree in a relevant field
- Driver's License
