Job Summary
Asset Associate responsible for end-to-end supplier-backlog and PO management in a fast-paced, global purchasing environment. Duties include entering POs (EDI and manual), re-planning supplier backlog, managing VMI buffer levels, daily supplier communications on supply and shipping status, tracking backlog and urgent shipments, reconciling receipts and invoice discrepancies, ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining inventory levels, addressing supplier non-conformities, and supporting new supplier implementations within the Hub program. Requires ERP experience (Oracle preferred), ability to drive issues to resolution, strong organizational skills, ownership mindset, and effective communication in a multicultural context. English required; position offers competitive compensation and benefits; location: Penang, Malaysia; full-time.
