Job Summary
Assessor/Estimator role for insurance repairs on residential buildings across the Sunshine Coast. Responsibilities include travelling to sites or using desktop assessment tools to assess property damage, providing timely and accurate assessment reports and quotes for residential insurance claims, reviewing specialist reports for causation and policy liability, and effective stakeholder communication. Requires building assessment, ability to produce scope of works and tender quotes, attention to detail, and knowledge of residential construction, insurance repairs, and regulatory standards. QBCC licence is preferred and remote-work options are available. Fully maintained company vehicle and state-of-the-art technology offered.
Required Qualifications
- Previous trade experience required
- QBCC Licence preferred
- experience quoting in the residential construction space
- experience in insurance repairs industry preferred
- intermediate-level computer literacy
- familiarity with estimating/project management software
- knowledge of building regulations and OHS standards
