Job Summary
Assessments and Exercises VP, Purple Team leads design and execution of testing and simulations (penetration tests, technical controls assessments) and develops assessment methodologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to produce comprehensive assessment reports with findings, risk assessments, and remediation recommendations; leverages threat intelligence to enhance assessment strategy and risk management. Brings 5+ years of information security and cloud security experience (AWS/Azure) across IaaS/PaaS, with expertise in penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, incident response, and offensive security tooling (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Cobalt Strike). Preferred backgrounds include Intelligence Community/Security Services certifications (OSCP, OSEP, OSED, OSEE, OSCE), CREST, SANS, and scripting knowledge in Python/Java/C#. Highly collaborative in Agile environments, capable of presenting complex penetration testing results to senior stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification and 5+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent command of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies
- Ability to analyze vulnerabilities, threats, designs, procedures and architectural design, producing reports and sharing intelligence
- 5+ years of Information Security experience in cloud-based environments (IaaS and PaaS) in both private and public (AWS, Azure) environments and in one or more of: network penetration testing, application (web, mobile) penetration testing, Red Team/Purple Team operations, application security assessments, and network exploitation operations
