Job Summary

Conduct scheduled diagnostic mental health assessments and formulate appropriate treatment plans for children, adolescents, and their families. Provide clinical crisis services as needed and collaborate with physicians, treatment team members, and adjunctive service providers to implement interventions and achieve treatment goals. Work with the team to determine the appropriate modality and level of care, then recommend patient interventions based on assessment findings and patient input. Maintain accurate written clinical records and prepare written reports while collaborating with healthcare professionals regarding client care. Ability to work 40 hours weekly within a non-traditional schedule (8am to 7pm) and travel to other parts of Dona Ana county to assess participants unable to attend in person.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
  • Current New Mexico State Licensure (LMSW, LPCC, LMHC or LMFT, LPC, LAMFT, LSAA)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm for working within a CCBHC model and contributing to community-based care
